There is an untitled, unnumbered film in Joye Catalog vol 4 that may match this. There are two handwritten numbers (”984?” and another I can’t read) and a story description “Tiroler Freiheitskampf” (Tyrolean struggle for freedom), produced by Messter, which leads me to believe that this film may be the same. The Catalog page includes scene descriptions, but no date or director info.
12/8/2009 PCU: Joye Catalogue 1960 reports “Messter-Film; [property of] Autor-Film Co. GmbH, Berlin”. Joye Catalogue lists the film under three separate sheets:
a) # 342”(”II. Teil”), with added handwritten “X125;
b) # [342], crossed out with handwritten “X125” (”4. Teil, Rolle 2”);
c) # 343 handwritten over “X76” (”5. Teil”).
German title translates as “Tyrol in Arms” - UR 1/30/2008
JY 1/1/2005 (?)
Location 7651 was misfiled in envelope with Tirol in Waffen. It’s from La caduta di Troia. I have relabeled in database. Envelope needs to be relabeled. —JY |
