Add: (Auszug der Tarsliten aus Aegypten)

PCU Dec 4, 2009: Move “La decima piaga” to Foreign titles. Joye 1960 catalog lists the film as UNTER DEM JOCH.

Piaga translated as “Plague.” Doesn’t seem to be Gaumont 1911 film “Le plague” listed in BFI database, which is nonfiction.

German title translates as “Under the ...” do not known a word ‘Jock,’ nor is it listed in dictionaries; a friend of mine suggests it might be a Yiddish term.

It’s not an issue in the Title table, like it is in the Details table.

Josh, title inventory number 560 - 567 do not correspond to the record number in the title database / view. Apparently I skipped number 0559 by mistake first and then corrected this omission here. I believe that’s not much of a issue, unlike with the Details view (clipping database), where we do need to keep record number and clip inventory number perfectly “in synch,” but do let me know if you do find this problematic. Of course, once we consolidate title inventory numbers for identical films in the title database, they will go further “out of synch” anyways.

If my previous entry is correct, it would translate as “Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.” Fixed umlaut in title.

UR 1/16/08
Could it be “Israeliten” (Israelites) rather than “Tarsliten”?
