clip #s 16203, 16214... 16218 re: color info - is this clip b&w or is it faded/decomp orange tint? Bologna notes it as no color, which is how I’ve entered it here.

Updated date. Left tinting as orange for now. FIAF database wouldn’t have gotten their info from here.

FIAF lists production company as Milano films; given Paolo’s comment, is that information that would have gotten there from this database? FIAF agrees with the 1909 production date

PCU, Jan 21, 2008:
Date: this is not an 1911 title. The correct date is 1909.
I’m quite puzzled by Turconi’s attribution of this film to Milano Films. (unfortunately, none of the clips includes an intertitle). Could it be because SAFFi-Comerio was based in Milan? I am also uncertain about the tinting: I find the blanket “orange tinting” description a bit risky, as I feel that some frames may have been affected by decomposition. A case by case assessment of the originals might be in order.

Specified locations for Daniela’s note on provenance, and minor corrections in notes.

Given by Livio Jacob to Patrick Loughney in Pordenone in October 2006. Frames were in plastic sleeves stapled on cardboard. Not Turconi handwriting - DC

Turconi’s envelope credits the film to Milano Films 1911. -PCU
