UR 1/30/2008 I think the envelope is meant to read “GesichteRn” so as far as I’m concerned, the 3rd notes line could go also.
JLY 1/29/2008 Removed 4th line mispelling.
UR 1/16/08 - 1/21/08 At first sight (and in the jpeg), this does look like a spelling error in the title card. However, only “Gesichtern” makes sense (”The Man with the Many Faces”), and looking at the title frame in uncompressed tiff, this could and should be read as a G. Fixed title on envelope accordingly and suggest removing 4th line in notes.
UR 1/21/08-1/22/08 Should read “Mann;” “Gesichtern” is proper spelling, German title translates as “The Man with the Many Faces” |
