JLY 5/21/2012 http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/445471
UR 1/31/08 Do we need a note explaining which other films it was found with? This can be concluded from the envelope scan so it may be redundant.
UR 1/21/08 Looked at the clipping scan and added ‘in Frankfurt’ to transcription to notes, removed quotation mark. Yes, much like you could argue that “A Story of the South Seas” is part of the title “Tabu,” you could consider “Ein Rundgang...” (A Tour through the Bindig Brewery in Frankfurt) part of the title. The first part is a German proverb, thus hard to translate: “Hops and Malt, may God preserve it”
JY 1/18/2008 Updated Alternative Title. What about the 2nd part of the title frame? Ein Rundgang...
UR 1/16/08 I suggest adding the comma and probably also exclamation mark back to the alternate title. The title on envelope indeed does not make sense. |
