The film is I think also called "The Clown and his Donkey", shadow animation from 1910, 244 ft, produced by The Charles Urban Trading Company, and directed by Charles Armstrong, hence his initials in the corner of every frame. He also directed : Mr Asquith and the Clown 1911 Ta Ta Come Again 1911 The film was first shown on the Music Hall bill at the Cambridge Theatre in London. There may be a review in the Bioscope Review , 28 April 1910. |
