JLY 6/20/2018 From Matthias Grottendieck: “Film 8: The stills should be from the Bébé series by Gaumont. My guess is that this might be "Bébé hypnotiseur" / “Bébé fait de l'hypnotisme” (No. 3306) from 1911 due to the intertitle.” http://cinema.encyclopedie.films.bifi.fr/index.php?pk=78234 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0208812/?ref_=ttrel_rel_tt
Possibly not that specific title based on: https://archive.org/stream/movingpicturenew05unse#page/n1053/mode/2up
PCU, Dec 3, 2009 - Joye 1920 Catalog lists No. 62 as a Pathé drama. So far, I would have thought that the numbers on the Turconi envelopes would be equivalent to the 1960 Joye catalogue numbers. I have now to correct this assumption, and formulate an alternate hypothesis: when Turconi writes “N.”, the number corresponds to the Joye 1960 catalogue; when he writes “x”, the numbering is unrelated to the Joye 1960 catalogue; but if that’s the case, what does “x” stand for? |
