SBL 8/31/2010 no title given in Joye catalog, but several scenarios and intertitle texts are listed (in French). It’s a scenario in which the baby “Snookums” is thought to have been kidnapped, though he wasn’t.
BFI owns a 1926 film NEWLYWEDS AND THEIR BABY: SNOOKUMS GETS A TOOTH, which they list as American. This all, though, does not seem to fit at all with the one frame we have for X12.
ALSO there is a second entry in the Joye catalog (the next page) that is a continuation of the Snookums scenario, and which is listed as “X12/13 ev. (B) 1082”; we don’t have an envelope #1082 in the db.
JLY 10/20/2009 I’m not sure how exactly to clarify it; Green vs. Green. It’s a pretty broad, inaccurate distinction, but it seems useful. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
PCU, 7/15/09: In the color processes note, the meaning of “Light” is unclear to me. |
