Roland François Lack identified 11116...11121:
11116 ... 11121: clearly a version of Dante’s Inferno.

Clarified this in Notes, I only meant this as a spelling correction and would suggest only “elevating” those corrected Turconi notes to alternate titles once they can be confirmed, from other sources or the intertitles of the clippings. Even more so here, since Turconi put the titles in parentheses.

Do you know if “Dantes Hölle” is a German release title; in other words should it go into the Alternative Title Field?

Updated.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the envelope Quicktime error on my end, but I replaced the envelope file. Let me know if you continue to have the error, or see it in other places. Helios is on the original envelope. When data is in brackets in the notes field, it means that it’s a transcription of what’s on the envelopes. Also, I fixed the tinting/toning markings throughout the record.

PCU, Nov 22, 2007:
Original title: L’Inferno
Note: Frames 66, 67, 73 are similar to the illustrations reproduced in Martinelli’s Filmography, 1911, vol. 1, pp. 249, 251, corresponding to the Helios version of this film. As I can’t see the image of the envelope (”QuickTime3 and a decompressor are needed to see this picture”), I can’t tell if the Helios attribution is also on Turconi’s envelope. If it is, then the original title is definitely “L’Inferno” (with capital “I”). There’s another film with the same title and same year, produced by Milano Films.
Also note that while some frames are tinted and toned, the corresponding “Toned” box has not been checked. Please revise accordingly.

Should properly be spelled “Dantes Hölle” - UR.
