Per Matthias Grottendieck:
“Film 83: This collection of frames contains at least three films. Frames 9603 to 9608 should be Messter according to the egde code, frames 12079 to 12088 should be Gaumont according to the edge code and frames 12089 to 12099 is Pathe Freres. Starting from frame 13053 it is Messter again.”
I have divided up the title, separating out the Gaumont (title #0569) and Pathé (title #0355) titles.
Originally these were grouped together: 2513...2526 and 9601...9608; 12079...12099; 13053...13067, 20266...20267.
Have identified the Pathé title (title #0604) as Les Gaietés du divorce based on title card, Loc. 12089, and have grouped with matching title #0355.

Have disentangled entry. Pavia clippings were mixed: some were from Les Gaietés du divorce; others were unidentified Gaumont comedy. See location numbers in notes fields. Turconi Envelope “Heimweh” was a misfile due to similar Turconi Inventory number.
PCU, 7/15/09: There is a mixture of Gaumont and Pathé fragments under this title! I am also unclear on the meaning of the text in the Notes section. It says “No Turconi envelope”and “[X 74 Les Gaietés du divorce]”, but then there is a Turconi envelope reproduced on the left, “74 - Heimweh”. This whole entry needs to be disentangled. |
