SBL 5/13/09 FIAF lists production company as Gaumont
This film is listed in BFI website as “Production No AL B 1765”.
Only clipping 10510 seems to belong to the Gaumont title on the envelope. Clippings 10511...10513 instead probably come from another film listed as well in BFI database: “Bauern Kirchweih u Zukunfts Feuerwehr” (1910) (= “Farmers Country Fair and Future’s Fire Brigade”). Clipping 10513 displays this title and “Biograph” as the production company - DC
UR 11/21/08 “sich” and “hauen” should not be capitalized.
UR 1/31/2008 “Rentier” means reindeer; what is presumably the animal’s name, “Bremsig,” could be a pun on “bremsen” (to brake).
