SBL 5/13/09 FIAF lists production company as Charles Urban Trading Co. As showed in one of the frames the title should read “Bau einer Eisenbahnstrecke in Amerika”. The frame also reads: “2 englische Meilen pro Tag / Chas. Urban Trading Co London”. The translation from German is: “The Construction of a Railway Passage in America / 2 English Miles a Day”. “Tit. tedesco Svizzera” means “German title Switzerland”. BFI website says: “This may be CANADIAN NORTHERN RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION listed in `The Bioscope' 10/2/1910 p. 35. Birett (1895-1911) lists `Bau einer Eisenbahn in Amerika' No. 1268. The production Company is given as Eclipse (Production No. 2495) and the length given as 62 metres. Since Eclipse was a subsidiary of Charles Urban Trading Company (listed on the title), the catalogued film may be the same.” - DC
