Program Notes |
A group of school friends want to try something new for the holidays, aiming to spend it by the sea rather than, like every year, staying home on “Terrace Bay”. To earn a little bread, they decide to try their hands at different jobs. Who knows if they will succeed in realizing their dream. - VALERIO GRECO Valerio Greco (born 1991) is a silent film scholar and enthusiast. As a pupil at the Liceo Artistico S. Maria Capo a Vetere, Caserta, he directed Quale baia!, which won the prize at the Corti per la Legalità 2007 competition. The original version was with dialogue. Since then, true to his dedication to silent cinema, he has worked on this new silent and intertitled version. It has a soundtrack of pop music. - DAVID ROBINSON |
