Program Notes |
A 20th-century fable, set in 1930s small-town America and somewhat conflating the tales of Cupid and Narcissus. The film was the outcome of a class in video production at the Maharishi University of Management: its Norwegian director, Maria Ellingsen, explains that “Love is a timeless theme – but the timing isn’t always right.”– DAVID ROBINSON
The film has a synchronized soundtrack, recorded by the composer Donald Sosin, but for the Giornate performance Mr. Sosin will perform the accompaniment live. |
